Increasing miniaturization brings advantages in terms of packing density, space requirements and, in some cases, considerable weight savings. However, processing is becoming more and more difficult - the thin wires have hardly any inherent rigidity and can only be treated with experienced hands and the highest concentration during soldering and crimping. Quality control is also becoming more difficult: measuring pull-off force is difficult, and producing a micrograph requires some tricks.
