Cable production: shielding, braiding, armouring
The electrical shielding is carried out by means of a braid or an spiral. Alternatively shields of metallised tapes (usually with a drain wire) can be made for cables for fixed installation. For mechanical protection a braid or armour with steel wire (galvanized or stainless steel) can be produced. And as torsion protection plastic fiber braids can be integrated into the outer sheath.
